How to find our Castletownbere Holiday Cottage directions to Eagle Hill Cottage.
From the North East (coming from Kerry):
Head for Kenmare. As you leave Kenmare on Glengarriff road, turn right just after the bridge and take the R571 road to Beara and Castletownbere. Stay on this road. It will take you approximately ¾ hour to reach us. Go through the village of Ardgroom. You will then bypass the colourful village of Eyeries (on the right). Continue to stay on the R571 road. After passing Nealie Sullivan Garage (on the right) you are approximately 1 mile away from Eagle Hill Cottage. After approximately 5 minutes driving you will pass a bungalow on the left with a shed beside it. A few hundred metres from here there will be a dark cream dormer bungalow on the left hand side (see picture below). There is a stone wall at the entrance. Turn in by the stone wall and drive up to the house. We will be waiting to meet you to give you the keys and take you to the cottage.

From the South West (i.e. Cork City):
Head for Bantry then Glengarriff. As you leave Glengarriff, take the road on your left (R572 road). You are now approximately 45 minutes drive from Eagle Hill Cottage. In Castletownbere turn right at SuperValu (supermarket) corner and follow the road towards Eyeries (R571). Travel approx. 2.75 km (five minutes drive), passing the Cork County Council Waste Transfer (on your left) and you are nearly there! Watch out for a dark cream dormer bungalow set back from the road on the right hand side (take care it is difficult to see from this direction – see pictures – it is just over the brow of a hill after some trees). Turn in and drive up to the house. We will be waiting to meet you to give you the keys and take you to the cottage. Before you reach our house you will pass an entrance on your right with timber fencing. The next entrance on your right has stone walls – turn in by the stone wall and you have arrived!
